Luleå, Färjestad and Linköping close in on the top duo HV 71 and Skellefteå in the 25th round of Elitserien. Late loss for Rögle.

MODO beat the league leader HV71 4-2. MODO's Danish forward Morten Madsen scored two goals, 2-0 and 4-2. Marcel Müller opened the scoring for the home team in the sixth minute and Madsen scored 2-0 late in the first period. William Karlsson and Andreas Jämtin scored for HV71 and the game was tied at two after two periods. Per-Åke Skrøder scored the game-winning power play goal at 44:42 and Madsen added the 4-2 goal eight minutes before the end.

Petr Vampola assisted to the equalizer and scored the winner when Växjö won two important points away to Skellefteå who had won seven games in a row before this. The host took the lead in the second period with a power play goal by Jimmie Ericsson. At 50:41 Tomi Kallio tied the game. Petr Vampola scored the game-winner at 62:14 when both teams had a man on the penalty bench.

Färjestad was ahead of Brynäs for most of the game but after an equalizer by Johan Harju nine minutes before the end the game had to be decided in overtime. Marcus Paulsson gave Färjestad the win with a goal at 64:14. Christan Berglund had scored two goals for the winner.

Once again Rögle finished a game badly. Christopher Liljewall had tied it 1-1 seven minutes before the end but Toni Koivisto could get the winner for Luleå at 58:14. Daniel Gunnarsson had scored 0-1 in the second period.

Carl Söderberg scored two goals and an assist when Linköping beat Timrå 5-2 at home. Söderberg's goals were the first two of the game. Mat Robinson and Niklas Nordgren made sure Timrå had tied it at half the game. Then Linköping's young defenseman Jesper Pettersson scored his first ever Elitserien goal and in the third period also Johannes Salmonsson and Pär Arlbrandt scored for Linköping.
