World Juniors starts today

The 2011 IIHF World U20 Championship in Buffalo and Niagara, United States starts today. The junior teams of USA, Switzerland, Finland, Slovakia, Germany, Canada, Sweden, Russia, Czech Republic and Norway will battle for the World title. Follow all the action here on eurohockey.com.
As usual the tournament will be played with two groups with teams each. USA, Switzerland, Finland, Slovakia and Germany play in Group A while Canada, Sweden, Russia, Czech Republic and Norway play in Group B. The winner of each group qualifies for the semi finals while the second and third placed teams will play in the quarter finals.
A number of preparation games has been played prior to the tournament.
