AHL introduces All-Star Classic Rosters

American Hockey League Eastern and Western Conference Stars will play January 30 in Atlantic City. Fans can vote starting line ups

St. John’s IceCaps head coach Keith McCambridge and Oklahoma City Barons head coach Todd Nelson will guide the stars of Eastern and Western Conference at the All Star Classic on January 29-30 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The American Hockey League announced today the Eastern and Western Conference rosters, determined by committees of AHL coaches. Each of 30 AHL teams must be represented by at least one player. Fans will have the opportunity to vote for the starting lineups until January 23 by visiting AHL page or on Facebook.

Among the 48 players selected, there are 13 rookies and two veterans: AHL Top Scorer Keith Aucoin (Hershey Bears) and current AHL MVP Corey Locke (Binghamton Senators) will tie an AHL record with sixth career All-Star appearance. Just two European players were selected: Norwegian Mats Zuccarello (Connecticut Whale) and Swedish Gustav Nyquist (Grand Rapids Griffins)
