The league was formed in 2010 with four teams: Aztec Eagle Warriors, Mayan Astronomers, Teotihuacan Priest and Zapotec Totems. The first season started with a player draft where each team was allowed to pick 2 goalies and 17 skaters.After just one season league folded and resurrected only in 2017-18 season, with same teams except Zapotec Totems, replaced by Olmec Stone Head
