The foundation of hockey club Halyts'ki Levy is connected to the opening of the roofed hockey rink in Novoyavorivsk in 2009. Nowadays the club is represented in several age categories and has 230 registered children. Category U16, except for the regular participation in Ukraine Championships, plays, since 2014/15 also in Polish league. The club is proud of four titles of Champion of Ukraine. These first places are at the same time the first won by the team from west Ukraine.
