The Phantoms were known as the Philadelphia Phantoms and were located in Philadelphia from 1996 to 2009; new ownership relocated and renamed the team following the closure of the Phantoms' former arena, the Spectrum
From 2014-15 AHL season the Adirondack Phantoms move from Glens Falls, New York to Allentown, Pennsylvania.
AHL sets new attendance record
A record crowd of 45,653 watched the Adirondack Phantoms - Hershey Bears AHL outdoor game last Friday at Philadelphia's Citizens Bank Park.
The crowd was more than twice as big as the previous record of 21,673, set last year in the outdoor event between the Connecticut Whale and Providence Bruins in East Hartford.
