The PSHF is designed to provide the top prep hockey programs with elite competition and exposure to Canadian and US junior programs along with Canadian Major Junior and NCAA hockey programs. The PSHF will provide a larger competition pool than participating in localized leagues and create a North American option for a National Championship, by incorporating both to its ranking. The Federation's members will compete in a schedule created by members in addition to league showcase weekends, culminating with National Championship
