Founded in 1986, the great North Midget "AAA" league has, since it's inception, become recognized as Ontario's premiere midget league and a great development league for young players interested in improving their skills and possibly moving on to Junior or University hockey.
The league currently operates with nine clubs from Sault St. Marie, Rayside/Balfour, Kirkland Lake, Valley East, Sudbury, North Bay, New Liskeard, Timmins and Kapuskasing.
