The Raleigh Youth Hockey Association (RYHA) is a not-for-profit organization founded in May of 1987. RYHA has served the Raleigh and Triangle area for 25 years. RYHA is the largest USA Hockey association in the Carolinas with over 1000 members ranging in age from 5 to 18. We offer a comprehensive set of programs ranging from Skills Development Clinics to competitive league programs for Recreational through Tier I AAA Travel players.
In February of 2007, RYHA formed a partnership with the Carolina Hurricanes NHL Team. The Hurricanes through their Canes Youth and Amateur Hockey (CYAH) program work closely with the RYHA to develop and promote youth hockey. Under this partnership, all RYHA teams are known as the Carolina Junior Hurricanes and wear the Hurricanes logo.
