The club was founded in 1987 and played their home games in the Sporta Rīgas pils. From 1992 the club participated in the Latvian Hockey League. He won the Latvian championship three times and reached two times the 2nd place. After the first championship, the club took part in the IIHF Federation Cup 1995/96, where he took third place in Group C.
In 2000, the association was dissolved, while at the same time created two new ice hockey club in Riga - the Juniors Riga and Riga Vilki. The majority of players of Nik's Brih joined Vilki
