Glasgow Clan got a much-needed win to end their losing run at the expense of Scottish rivals Fife Flyers, who have still get to win a game in 2020.
Paul Crowder finished on the rebound after nice work from Danick Gauthier at 5:04, but the Flyers were undone just under two minutes later. With Scott Tanski in the penalty box, Rasmus Bjerrum finished form Matt Haywood's feed to level the game. Another breakaway led to the Clan going ahead, this time Matt Beca scoring at 19:18 with the teams playing 4-on-4.
Marcus Jonsson's attempted wrap-around led to Mac Howlett having a gaping goal to fire into at 24:19 as the youngster gave Clan some breathing room.
That goal would prove to be the game-winner with Crowder again striking for the Flyers this time with 3:58 remaining. However, the Flyers couldn't manage anything with the goalie out and it was Glasgow who celebrated a very important win.
