Game recap

Dundee Stars moved level on points with the playoff places thanks to coming from behind to beat Glasgow Clan live on FreeSports.

Hosting their Pride Night as part of the Elite League's #PrideWeekend, the hosts found themselves two down inside 12 minutes - Matt Beca poked home after Liam Stenton's clever shot at 5:03, and then Scott Pitt scored from inside the blue paint at 11:06 on a rebound. Anthony Beauregard finished off a Stars' counter-attack with 13:42 played to leave the scores at 1-2 after 20 minutes.

The Stars' equaliser had an element of fortune about it: Matt Pufahl's stick snapped as he tried to shoot from the blueline, and Dundee were able to break with Colton Kroeker setting up Drydn Dow for the tying goal just before the 30-minute mark. The Stars then took the lead at 34:01 thanks to Craig Gans' shot from the point going through a crowd of players into the net.

The impressive Craig Peacock levelled things from the slot at 44:43 on the powerplay, but the Stars were back ahead at 46:14 through Kevin Dufour on a man advantage for the hosts. 36 seconds later Brett Stovin's big shot took a deflection on its way past Jordan McLaughlin as the Stars went two ahead. Matt Marquardt's unselfish play allowed Matt Carter to score into the empty net with 58 seconds remaining.
