Goals and assists
Manchester Storm opened up a small bit of daylight between themselves and the teams chasing the playoffs thanks to a 'smash and grab' in Kirkcaldy.
Carlo Finucci had got the hosts off to the perfect start with a goal just inside the three-minute mark as he got the wrap-around on Matt Ginn. The scores were levelled by Mario Puskarich at 16:13 in the slot; and 76 seconds later Layne Ulmer tipped Tyson Fawcett shot past Adam Morrison to put the Storm ahead.
Jonas Emmerdahl's equaliser from the blueline brought Fife level 1:24 into the final period, but they were undone by Cameron Critchlow's quick release after Chase Schaber lost the puck in the neutral zone.
