Game recap

A flurry of third period goals helped Sheffield Steelers turn things around and leave Glasgow with two points.

Clan started well and were ahead through Craig Peacock with just over three minutes gone, although Nikolai Lemtyugov had the Steelers level at 14:06. Glasgow were back ahead with Mathieu Roy's powerplay goal from close range at 17:31 to lead after the opening period.

A fantastic Nolan LaPorte set up Rasmus Bjerrum to make it 3-1 to the Clan at 47:16 and head into the final period two ahead.

Sheffield, however, had other ideas and took all the points with four goals in less than four minutes. Jonathan Phillips got them back to within one at 50:02, with Michael Davies at the far post then tying the game 54 seconds later. Anthony DeLuca struck on the powerplay to put the Steelers ahead at 53:33, before Tanner Eberle's shot snuck through Patrick Killeen 13 seconds later for the game's final goal.
