Game recap

A four-point weekend in their double-header north of the border ensures that Guildford Flames remain the league's form team after they twice came from behind to win against Fife.

A rocket form Danick Gauthier put the Flyers ahead at 4:48, only for Ian Watters to level the game just 31 seconds later. The Flyers scored the only goal of the middle period through Carl Finucci on the powerplay at the point, but the Flames were to turn thing around in the third.

A huge TJ Foster slapshot levelled the game on the powerplay 69 seconds into the period, and then the Flames led thanks to Kruise Reddick finding Ben Davies for the shorthanded finish at 45:56. Ian Watters put the visitors two up at 47:35 before Brett Ferguson found the empty net with 13 seconds to go.

The win keeps the Flames in a top four separates by just four points, while Fife are only two points safe in the playoff places.
