Game recap

Dundee Stars extended their unbeaten streak to five games with a big home win against Coventry.

It was an excellent start for the Stars who went ahead through Kevin Dufour after 67 seconds, and then doubled the lead 3:40 in with Jordan Cownie scoring his first of the night. The visitors however got on the board at 13:25 thanks to Luke Ferrara, and were then level two minutes into the second period.

Justin Maylan put the hosts back ahead at 29:52, and although Andrew Johnston levelled things up at 33:26 Cownie needed just 17 seconds to put the Stars back ahead. At 35:13 Kevin Dufour struck again to ensure the Stars were two up after 40 minutes.

59 seconds into the final period Anthony Beauregard made it 6-3, before Egils Kalns rounded off the evening's scoring at 49:06.
