Game recap

Dundee’s run of wins continued on Sunday night against a Guildford team who now find themselves on a run of three straight losses.

The Flames lost at home to Fife the previous night in overtime, but in a tight game it took until the second period for the deadlock to be broken. When it came, the goal went to Guildford as John Dunbar converted with 33:58 played.

With 6:51 to go, Fabrizio Ricci threw the puck on the net and Charles Corcoran was the lucky beneficiary to tape home the rebound. The Stars had a late chance to win the game as Dunbar was sent to the box for slashing with 1:25 to play, but the visitors held out to take the game to overtime. Three minutes in to the extra period, Matt Marquardt slotted past Fullerton to give Dundee the extra point and keep them in the playoff places.
