Game recap

A good night for Glasgow saw them move up to third in the table and win the Gardiner Conference title thanks to a 5-1 win over local rivals Dundee in Braehead.

The home side were two ahead after the opening period, Scott Pitt and Guillaume Doucet with the goals at 6:56 and 18:05 respectively.

Gerard Hanson put the hosts three ahead with the only goal of the middle session at 22:24, while Brendan Connolly made it 4-0 8:25 into the third. Dundee got themselves on the board with Charles Corcoran keeping his points streak alive 28 seconds later, but Matt Beca had the final word adding the Clan’s fifth with just under five minutes remaining to complete a comfortable win for Pete Russell’s side.
