Manchester’s good recent run against the Panthers continued with a shutout win at the Motorpoint Arena.

With no goals in the opening period, Ciaran Long gave Manchester the lead at 28:44. The Storm held that lead into the final period and doubled their advantage 9:40 into the third – Dallas Ehrhardt with the goal to give Manchester some breathing space. Ehrhard then made the points safe with an empty net goal with 20 seconds to go to give Manchester their second consecutive win in Nottingham and lift Ryan Finnerty’s side to within two points of the playoffs.
