Two days ago Finland beat Russia 3-0 in Euro Hockey Tour and today they earned another win.

"We played good enough to beat a tough team like Russia. That gives us confidence for the World Championship", says Aleksander Barkov to Hufvudstadsbladet.

Ossi Louhivaara scored twice in the opening five minutes of today's game in Hartwall Arena to give Finland a flying start. Just four seconds before the first break Russia got its first goal by Anton Slepyshev.

Finland got another two goals in the second period. First young defenseman Esa Lindell scored 3-1 just 7 seconds into the only Finnish power-play of the game. Then Lennart Petrell made it 4-1. Russia would get a second goal 2:27 before the end of the game when Yevgeny Biryukov beat Juuse Saros in the Finnish net.

Russia outshot Finland 32-22 but the 7661 spectators in Hartwall Arena saw Finland win the game 4-2. Next week Finland will play two games against Czech Republic and Russia will face Sweden twice.
