As the first team ever in the Czech Extraliga history, Třinec won thirteen games in a row.

OCELÁŘI TŘINEC v. SPARTA PRAHA 5:4 (0:1, 1:2, 4:1)

In middle of the first period the score was 0-3 already and it looked like the victory series of the Steelers is going to its end. But ten minutes later it was 3-3 already and by the 49th minute the home players were in the lead already.

The Praguers were able to react and score the equalizer, bot not again later, when Dravecký made it 5-4 less than 4 minutes before the last horn. After all, Sparta leaves Třinec with no gain, but a lot of pain. The Steelers grabbed the thirteenth win in a row and set up a new Czech Extraliga high.

SLAVIA PRAHA v. PSG ZLÍN  0:2 (0:2, 0:0, 0:0)

The second Extraliga’s club from Prague, Slavia, is in exactly the opposite situation than Třinec. From December 2000, the Red-Whites were under lead of the only man - Vladimír Růžička, and they made playoffs in all seasons but one. But Růžička decided to quit and since last summer, they have gotten the third different head coach already, but the results are still the same poor.

As of today, Dušan Gregor steers Slavia from the bench, but to fulfill his goal to get Slavia off the last spot seems to be further and further from completing. During the last game, for Zlín it was enough to use just one minute out of all 60 to get its victory. In time 7.07 Petr Leška opened the score after a pass from Zdeněk Okál, and just after the face off, Roman Vlach got to the breakaway to make it 0-2 in time 7:18.

ENERGIE KARLOVY VARY v. OLOMOUC 2:1 (1:0, 1:0, 0:1)

The current form of Karlovy Vary was rather bad during last days. The Energizers are in the twelve spot and when you count just away games, they are the worst. Even worse, than Slavia, the last opponent against Karlovy Vary have reached a victory so far. Since that time, they have lost five consecutive games, pending for the first victory in 2015.

The next chance to break the cold streak came against Olomouc. Just a couple weeks ago, the Red Cocks were yet in the sixth position, but currently they seem to be losing the breath and the further hit came from the KV Arena:  The home players won both two first periods 1:0, and the second goal they scored even by playing shorthanded. Olomouc found its answer after 44 seconds of the third period, but that was all and the victory went for Karlovy Vary.

ŠKODA PLZEŇ v. VÍTKOVICE STEEL 5:4 (1:0, 4:3, 0:1)

Plzeň looks for a spot in the TOP 6 which could assure a direct ticket to the quarterfinals. Vítkovice eagerly fights for a place in the TOP 10 to get the qualification round, at least. So high motivation could be found on both sides before the game.

Except the goal by Plzeň Josef Sýkora, the first period was pretty equal. But in the start of the second, it looked like Vítkovice forgot its motivation in the locker room. In 196 seconds they received two goals and just after a change of their netminders, they encashed once more. But Vítkovice used its time out, scored a goal immediately and started up a chase. After all, the chase was unsuccesful: Plzeň won 5-4.

MLADÁ BOLESLAV v. BÍLÍ TYGŘI LIBEREC 3:1 (0:0, 1:1, 2:0)

Liberec has its new hero: It is goalie Ján Lašák. His GAA from first games in 2015 was just 1.5. In the game against Karlovy Vary he got a shutout and he did not recieved a goal even this time in Mladá Boleslav. At least not from a stick of an opponent.

The Skaters covered him with 40 shots, Lašák thwarted many scoring changes. But still, Liberec leaves the city with a 3-1 loss, because due to pitchy rebounds, they have scored three own goals! Needless to say, the home team deserved the victory, in this case the hockey god just make the justice to came true.

MOUNTFIELD HK v. KOMETA BRNO 0:7 (0:0, 0:5, 0:2)

The attendance in Hradec Králové witnessed seven goals and the most of fans were pretty sad: All seven pucks felt into net of the home team. During the first 26 minutes, Mountfield’s starting goalie encashed three times out of fifteen shots (60%) to be exchanged for Pavel Kantor, who did even worse.

In remaining of the game Kantor faced thirteen more shots, but received four other goals which makes a statistic of 60%. Interesting fact is, that both teams had the same amount of shots - 28, but unlike Hradec Králové, Kometa was much more successful in their using. It was a star night for two Brno players: Tomá Vondráček scored one goal and three assists, Antonín Honejsek two goals and on assist.

VERVA LITVÍNOV v. ČSOB POJIŠŤOVNA PARDUBICE 6:2 (4:2, 1:0, 1:0)

Hardly anybody would expect that after a 7-1 loss on the ice of Sparta, Litvínov would shake out the disappointment that quickly. Especially not after 15 minutes of their next game againts Pardubice. Eventhough Litvíno scored the first, Pardubice turned over the score fast to make it 1-2.

Probably in this point you could best observe the inner force of Litvínov as they did not upset, but scored three more goals yet in the first period. To the final result 6-2 significantly contributed two former NHL stars: a Triple-Gold Club member Jiří Šlégr scored the important equalizer during the first period after an asisstance of another Nagano Olympics winner Martin Ručinský, who later scored two more goals himself
