Roller coaster game at Biel

10 Jan 2015 | Luis Lopes

Biel from 0-3 to 4-3. Lausanne keep the good pace. Difficult victory for Bern.

Biel 4-3 Geneve (OT)

Has always at home was the home team to dominate the the neutral zone and have the firsts chances to score in the game. Top-scorer Par Arlbrandt was the most dangerous man on the ice. But dominate isn't score or even win. The 12 shots against 6 in the end of the first period didn't mean nothing. And would be Geneve to open the score in the game by Daniel Rubin. Looking for the first goal in the game the home team didn't manage to do it and it would be Geneve to score one more time by ex-Biel player Dario Trutmann assisted by Kast. In a comfortable situation and waiting for Biel's mistake, Geneve had now everything to get the three points. And by now was no surprise to see the guest team score for the third time in the game by Taylor Pyatt assisted by Daniel Rubin. Biel came out with another attitude for the third period and manage to score the first goal by Nicolas Steiner assisted by Dragan Umicevic. Motivated by the first goal Wetzel did the second assisted by Haas and the home team was in the game for the first time. Could Biel still do it? The answer is yes. Mathias Joggi score the third for Biel assisted by Haas and the game turned in a nightmare for Geneve by now. And the nightmare for Geneve wasn't complete without a fourth goal for Biel in overtime. Gaetan Haas with the game wining goal and the third point in the game end up be the hero of the night. With the home victory Biel gain some space in a fight for a play-off spot against Kloten and Fribourg.

Lausanne 1-0 Fribourg

In a very tight game between two team that fight for a play-off spot Lausanne was the first team to score in the game by John Gobbi assisted by Nodari in a power-play situation. Mention to Lausanne goalie Cristobal Huet with the six shotout in 24 games this season. The french goalie keep Lausanne in a good pace for a play-off spot.

Bern 4-3 Ambri

The game "wasn't start" yet, and Ambri had already two advantaged goals, taking the home team by surprise. First by Daniel Steiner and the second by Lukas Lothak. Top-scorer Martin Plüss scored the first goal for Bern the first period end. And the second goal in the start of the second period by Loichat assisted by legend Swiss Martin Plüss. The surprise was ended at Postfinance Arena and naturally Martin Plüss score once more putting Bern in front of the game for the first time. But Ambri didn't go away without a fight a Daniel Steiner manage to score the second goal in the game and the third for Ambri. When everybody taught the game would be in overtime Bern score the game wining goal at 59:59 in a power-play situation. Ryan Gardner assisted one more time by Martin Plüss. With this victory is now first in the league.
