With a 3-2 win over Belarus, Switzerland win the Arosa Challenge a second time after 2012 while Norway beats Slovakia to take the third spot.
In a tight game the Swiss squad beat a strong playing Belarus Team 3-2. For Swiss head coach Glen Hanlon it was a special day as he had previously coached the East European Team. After a goalless first period it was Simon Moster who opened the score for the Swiss but Pavel Radzvadovski and Vyacheslav Andryushenko got the lead in the second period. Two unansered powerplay goals by Inti Pestoni and Denis Hollenstein who had both also scored in yesterdays game secured the win for the Swiss in this 4th edition of the Arosa Challenge.
In the evening game, Norway secured the third spot with a 3-1 win over Slovakia. Niklas Roest got Norway on the scoreboard a first time with 35 minutes played but Patrik Lusnak was able to equalize the score in the 43rd minute. Just a minute later Norways Stefan Espeland took back the lead and with 6 minutes left in the game Jonas Espeland made sure the Slovaks couldn't get passed the Norwegians in this game.
