Biel 1-2 Lugano

Usually games between Biel and Lugano at at Biel's Ice stadium are very tight games but this was only tight in the final sore. Biel hade many chances to open the score. In the beggining of the second period Lugano had a great opportunity to score the second goal by Filppula with a penalty shot. But Biel's goalie Simon Rytz came up with the save. Biel continued to look for the first goal after so many tries the captain Mathieu Tschantré score very well assisted by Benoit Jecker. Try after try Biel continued to assault Lugano's cage and only the goalie Merzlikins could save the visiting team. It was clearly a solo game by Biel in the second period.

In the third period Lugano was clearly another team and came out decided to win the game. Biel missed so many goal situations in the first 40 minutes that in the end it was no surprise to see Linus Klasen score the game wining goal with one minute left in the game. Biel should never had let this game go to Lugano. Credit to Lugano's goalie Merzlikins with 45 saves. With the victory Lugano is now third in the table.

Lausanne 3-4 Rapperswil (OT)

The visiting team couldn't wish for a better start with two goals in the first five minutes of the game by Thibaudeau and Niklas Persson in a power-play situation well assisted by Johan Fransson. Decided not to loose for the first time this season at home Lausanne wake up at half game with a goal by Thomas Deruns. But Rapperswill was also decided to not let go the game that easy and before the second period ended Niklas Persson scores the second goal in the game and the third for the visiting team.
