Gap surprises Rouen, impressive win for Epinal

Gap beat Rouen 4-3,Epinal crushes Morzine 9-2.Win also for Grenoble,Angers and Amiens.

 
 
 
 

Gap-Rouen  4-3 (0-1, 3-0, 1-2)

Gap won the match of the week-end. Against Rouen the Basile’s boys made the difference in
the second period scoring three times in fifteen minutes. The Dragons’ return
in the last period was too late. Nicolas Arrossamena scored two goals.

 

Epinal-Morzine/Avoriaz  9-2 (1-0, 6-1, 2-1) 

For their first match, Epinal easily crushed Morzine-Avoriaz which had to do without their
goalie Andrew Hare. Epinal scored six goals in the second period to secure
their victory. Michal Petrak had five points and Vincent Kara four. The GamYo
are the first leaders.


Dijon-Chamonix 
2-3 (1-1, 0-0, 1-1, 0-0, 0-1)

Good operation for Chamonix who won the game after shootout. Laurent Gras scored the
decisive goal.In a hard and tough game ( Olivier Dame-Malka got a 25 mn penalty
for misconduct) and despite two goals for Steven Cacciotti,the club from
Burgondy failed to win this match.

 

Briançon-Amiens  1-2 (0-0, 0-0, 1-2)

The start of the season is definitely complicated for Briançon. After four losses in CHL, the
champion lost again at home. The game was scoreless after two periods. Joel Champagne
scored the game winning goal at 54”12.The gothics can congratulate their Canadian
goalkeeper Mitch O’Keefe, man of the match (96,3% of savings).

 

Caen-Angers 
1-2 (1-0, 0-2, 0-0)

Short victory but a victory for the Ducs thanks to their new players Yannick Tifu and
Sebastien Bisaillon in the second period (1+1 for the two players).

 

Grenoble-Brest 
4-1 (2-1, 1-0, 1-0)

Easy win for Grenoble who dominate the game but the lack of offensive efficiency in
front of the net annoyed the 2 800 spectators. Three different players
scored (Toby Lafrance two times, Eric Chouinard and Felix Petit).

 

Strasbourg-Lyon  4-2 (0-1, 1-0, 3-1)

Important win for this match between underdogs. Sebastien Trudeau scored the last goal in
an empty net at 59”51 to secure victory for Strasbourg. But the Lions showed that
il won’t be easy to beat them.
