Sports.kz portal conducted a survey among teams coaches to determine the best players of regular season, choosing a goalie, a defender and a forward.
Here the results:
Best Goaltender is Beybarys Atyrau Latvian Martins Raitums, collecting the most points among all players, indipendently from the position. Raitums, with a 92.64% saves, helped Atyrau team to close regular season behind champion Sary Arka. Behind Raitums finished last year best goalie, Aleksei Ivanov (90.29%) from Barys-2 Astana, a star in incredible come back of Barys 2nd team, now semifinalist. Bronze medal for Sary Arka Finnish Juho Santanen (90.86% and 2 shutout).
Best defender
was elected Artem Lakiza, with regular appearances in Kazakhstan national team and KHL Barys Astana. He preceded other two experienced players: 37 year old Evgeny Antonov (Beybarys) and Sergei Yakovenko from Sary Arka.
Finally, best forward was recognized Ilya Solarev, another player from Barys-2 with regular appearances in main team and national team. He won over a trio: regular season top scorer Mikhail Panishin (Beybarys), Sary Arka Anton Dubinin and teammate Konstantin Pushkarev.
