Luleå reaches dream final against Skellefteå

Luleå won in overtime again and won the semi final series against Färjestad 4-1. Now there will be a northern Sweden derby in the final against Skellefteå.

Luleå did it in overtime and qualified for a dream final against northern rivals Skellefteå. 12:45 into the overtime Linus Klasen scored the game winner with a wrist shot over the shoulder of Alexander Salak.

It was Färjestad that started the game best and also got a well deserved lead when Magnus Nygren scored his first playoff goal on the power play after a stupid penalty by Fredrik Svensson.

But after the taking the lead Färjestad slowly lost grip of the game when trying to defend the lead and when Luleå got a power play chance 12 minutes into the third period Linus Persson tied the game.

In overtime Färjestad created many chances but couldn't just beat Johan Gustafsson and instead Luleå scored on a chance out of nowhere.
