Thanks to a strong performance in game 7 Fribourg reached the playoff semifinals; The NLA Playoffs continue for the reigning champions;

 
 
 
 

Bern 4 Geneva 1 (4-3 in series)

The series between Bern and Geneva ended as it had begun two weeks ago. Without discussion. Geneva had no chance. In summer holidays Geneva must learn what was wrong in games 5 and 6. These two games Geneva lost in overtime and penalty shoot-in after they led the score in both games, 5-2 with seven minutes left in game 5 and 3-1 at the end of second period. Once again Byron Ritchie led his team whit a goal and assist. 


Fribourg 6 Biel 1 (4-3 in series)

Thanks to a strong performance in game 7 Fribourg  reached the playoff semifinals. The regular season winner defeated Biel 6-1 at home. Simon Gamache contributed with three goals.

Despite the clear defeat in the game 7,  Biel deserve the highest recognition in this series, they had to deplore the absence of eight important players. Still they fought back from 0-3 to 3-3 in series. 

Zürich 2 Davos 0 (4-3 in series)

The NLA Playoffs continue for the reigning champions. Zürich Lions won the last game of the series against Davos 2-0 and came back from 1-3 to 4-3. Zürich reached for the tenth time in the club's history the playoff semifinals. 

The fore-cheeking from Zürich was particularly good against Davos helping Zürich goalie Luke Flüeler(shotout; 30 saves) to stay out of trouble. 

Zug 4 Lugano 1 (4-3 in series)

After seven disputed games someone had to win the series. In the last game Zug was stronger and win 4-1. Self dependent of Glen Metropolit Lugano was never in conditions to discuss this seventh game. Home team defended very well in neutral zone. Reto Suri with two goals led Zug.
