The situation in L'viv reached a critical point during this day. In the morning, according to sources from the club, due to the current situation of the club - there are substantial arrears of wages - the players gave an ultimatum to the club by which the entire debt to the players had to pay by the 25th of December. Otherwise, the players threatened not to play the game with the Donbas on December 26 and to leave the team. As of now only a small part of the debt was paid. In the afternoon, the club published an official statement on his website, announcing the immediate withdrawal from the PHL (Professional Hockey League), accusing the League of keep teams in uncertain condition. The same League last week suspended the games involving club with unpaid debts
"Hockey club Levy temporarily suspends its participation in PHL - said the official statement - "The reason  is the unclear situation in Professional Hockey League, in particular an unjustified delay in the championship, which triggered tension in the team. For its part, the hockey club Levy most consistently tried to comply with all PHL requirements. Today the club paid off debts to PHL. In addition, the ice arena in Novoyavorivsk has done several improvements in accordance with the requirements of the championship. Currently, the team were paid wages for December. However, due to the uncertainty of future plans PHL and a violation of League regulations, it was decided to dissolve the team and set the players free. The hockey Club Levy apologizes all supporters and fans, thank you for your loyal support!"

A similar situation exists at Dynamo Kharkiv. According to information from sources at the club, there are also wage arrears and the players are also going to boycott next team games.Today game against Berkut wasn't play as protest
