Geneva is for real

Geneva is for real

Vernets are a difficult stadium for opposing teams; Serge Pelletier with voodoo coaching; Langnau and Kloten both in bad shape;

Geneva 5 Davos 4 (OT)

At home Geneva is the boss. Stats say it all(10- nothing) Geneva had a win against Davos with an abnormal number of shorthanded goals(three). Coach Chris Mcsorley said that the match against Davos was a real test to see how good Geneva was this season. Cody Almond(2g 1a) and Logan Couture(1g 2a) both lead Geneva tonight to a very important victory. On Davos' side all four foreign players(Marha, Sykora, Thornton and Nash) were a -4 in stats.

Langnau 3 Fribourg 6

Once again with a bad first period the home team gave away this game. Yesterday they let Biel score three goals in five minutes. Today they let Fribourg score five times in eighteen minutes. Former NHL player Simon Gamache lead Fribourg with a goal and three assists. Mention to Benny Plüss with two goals and Christian Dubé with a goal and two assists.

Kloten 0 Zug 5

These are difficult times at Kloten. The home team had lost five times in the last six games. Young player Dominic Lammer lead Zug with two goals in a very solid victory. Loan from Fribourg, Swiss goalie Simon Rytz made his first shutout in LNA(previous he had eleven in LNB).

Ambri 2 Zürich 1

Canadian coach Serge Pelletier seems to have a motivational effect on the Ambri team. In his third match he already has six points, against seven points in fourteen match by his former coach Kevin Constantine. Mention to Ambri goalie Nolan Schaefer with 30 saves.

Lakers 4 Biel 3

After a 6-1 victory against Langnau, the visiting team had not confirmed his condition. Even if Biel outscored the Lakers in shoots(46-29), the home team was always efficient defensibly. Former Colorado Avalanche David Aebischer confirms his good year.with 43 saves.In Biel side mention to Eric Beaudoin with a goal and assist.
