Biel comebacks after two bad periods

Biel, Switzerland-

Biel starts the game in better way. Always with a 2-2-1 or 3-1-1 system in neutral zone not given any space to Lugano to play its usual game. But it would be Lugano to score the first goal of the match after a huge pressure on Biel's side. The home team was not enough sharp to clear the puck and Jordy Murray scores assisted by Brett Mclean. Biel did not wait long to respond. After a great work by Gaetan Haas, Jeffrey Flugister ties the game. Until the end of the first period two more occasions for home team by Beaudoin and Wetzel; both missing the cage. Biel deserved a better luck.

In the second period everything changes. The special teams made the difference. Biel couldn't score on power-play and in first opportunity Lugano score at four against four... twice in fifty-eight seconds. In both play Swiss defenseman Julian Vauclair made the difference with a goal and assist. 3-1 for Lugano, Biel seems loosing this game.

The third period would be another story. Biel slogan "fight for Biel" fit in the situation. Swiss coach Kevin Schläpfer spicing the game by changing the offense lines. Spylo-Pouliot-Spylo on top line and Micflikier-Peter-Wieser on the second. A complete new game. Beaudoin with a goal and assist and Marc-Antoine Pouliot with two assists finish the game in great style for a 4-3 victory.

At flash interview Canadian coach Larry Hurras (Lugano) was not happy with his team: " My team has play for two periods, and in third they give the game way. They should play all 60 minutes. If all the players had played like goalie Micheal Flückiger (36 saves), our team would win this game".

For Ahren Spylo and Marc-Antoine Pouliot (Biel) the same opinion: " The team was not good in the first two periods due a bad penalties, the third period was a lot better". And then confidence:" After a bad start in the league the team is improving and we go in the right direction".

What about the NHL players in Swiss League?

The Canadian player is excited with the idea: "The Seguin venue will help the team and i hope he's committed to do good things with us. Five foreign players in lockeroom is not a problem. In Biel we are used to. Last two seasons we have done it like that with good results".

Larry Hurras couldn't disagree more: " If I'm selfish and think about fans, certainly it will be great. But for us (team) and our lockeroom it is not a good thing. I'm worried about the atmosphere on the team and the development of young players. NHL and Swiss League should do something about it. For me they could play in Swiss only in injured cases".

He's coming

Rising NHL star Tyler Seguin signed a contract with Biel until the end of lockout. He will arrive to Zürich Airport next Tuesday morning by 10:45 a.m . will be presented to press at 2 p.m and fans at Biel-Ambri in the same day. His first game with Biel shirt will be next Saturday night against Rapperswil.
