Steaua ties series, HSC Csikszereda leads 2-0

Just one pair is balanced in Romanian League semifinals, HSC Csikszereda dominates the other
Steaua and Corona Fenestela Brasov are tied, 1-1 after the first two matches played in the
Romanian league semifinals.
In the first game in Brașov, the hosts won with a score of
8-5 (2-2, 5-1, 1-2), although after the first five minutes they were led with 2-0, but they had the power to come back and turn the score for their favor. In the second period Corona Brașov put his opponent up against the wall, helped by goalie Catrinoi's hesitation, this way the score after two periods was 7-3. In the last period, Steaua tried to regain momentum, but they couldn't come closer than two goals, and at 7-5, Csaba Nagy set the final score.
In the second game in Bucharest, Steaua was the better team, and won
6-3 (2-1, 3-0, 1-2). As opposed to the first match, Steaua coach Alexe-Corduban decided to replace the hesitant Catrinoi with Russian goalie Dmitri Shamygin, which gave Steaua an extra security on the ice, and in addition, the red-blues had a fantastically playing Ioan Timaru. Brasov counted only in the first period in which they gave Steaua a few headaches, but after the first intermission, the hosts played better and ties series. Game three will be played on Tuesday, in Brasov.
In the other semifinal HSC Csikszereda leads with 2-0 overall, after
13-2 (4-0, 5-2, 4-0) and
6-3 (2-2, 1-0, 3-1) with CSM Dunărea Galati and today they await game 3 and expect to win this too and qualify in the final.
