Malaysia names Challenge Cup of Asia roster

The IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia will be played in Dehradun, India from March 17-25. Malaysia's coach Martin Page has named the roster that includes five rookies.

 
 
 
 
India, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Macau, Kuwait and Taiwan will compete in the 2012 IIHF Challenge Cup of Asia. Hong Kong had earlier confirmed participation but have now withdrawn.

The Malaysian team has five debutants: Darshan Ruban Chelliah, Fok Wei Zhien, Mohamad Faris Hakimin Yusoff, Nurul Badrul Arie Versluis and Stephen Prakash Santhanasamy.

The roster: Andy Chang Yew Ming, Brandon Tan Wai Kin, Darshan Ruban Chelliah, Edmund Ng Eng Kuan, Fok Wei Zhien, Gabriel Ong Meng Huei, Jamil David Ahmad Mokhtar, Jeremy Chee Tack Hoong, Khoo Seng Chee, Loke Ban Kin, Mohamad Faris Hakimin Yusoff, Moi Jia Yung, Nurul Badrul Arie Versluis, Reezman Isa, Stephen Prakash Santhanasamy, Tan Kay Seng, Gary Tan Khia Peng, Teh Ton Tee, Tengku Muhammad Azlly, Vincent Shiao Yu.
