Severstal crushes Vityaz

Early in the first period Yevgeny Mons pulled ahead Severstal with his 2nd goal of the season. Vityaz forward Nikita Dvurechensky tied the game at 11:21. In the second, during a 10 minute span, Severstal scored five times to create a comfortable advantage this night. Niklas Bergfors, Ondrej Nemec beat goalie Danila Alistratov, Maxim Trunyov, Ruslan Nurtdinov and Yevgeny Kovyrshin beat his backup Sergei Denisov, who was reveiled after the 2nd period. In the last third Severstal managed to score twice with Stanislav Yegorshev's first goal of the season and Vadim Shipachyov closing goal at 59:39. Vityaz answered with Roman Tatalin's first KHL goal at 56:02. This win helps Severstal to take the 5th place in the West.
